PILLING

Up to two millimetres large, nodular fibre clumps on textiles are known as pilling. They are caused by abrasion when worn or by damage to the individual capillaries. You can find out how to remove pilling in our clothing care guide .

At LANIUS, we pay attention to a good pilling result when selecting our fabrics. However, since we do not use chemical finishes such as synthetic resin or silicone and primarily use natural materials, our fabrics are sometimes a little more susceptible to pilling than conventionally produced items.
