Wool

Wool is a spinning fiber that is obtained from the soft fur of the sheep by shearing or combing it. We primarily use wool from controlled organic livestock farming. This ensures that the animals are kept and fed in a species-appropriate manner and that no fattening aids or pesticides are used. Out of love for the animals, we only use mulesing-free wool. Mulesing is a practice that is widespread in Australia, in which the lambs are subjected to a painful procedure without anesthesia in order to prevent parasite infestation.
