Cotton
We use certified organic cotton. Our cotton quality is particularly soft, supple and durable, making it a reliable companion in every season.
Our focus in material selection is on natural raw materials, durability and comfort.
We primarily use controlled organic materials that are regularly tested by accredited, independent institutes. We also work with resource-saving fibers based on natural materials such as TENCEL™ from Lenzing and recycled fibers such as ECONYL® nylon.
We use certified organic cotton. Our cotton quality is particularly soft, supple and durable, making it a reliable companion in every season.
We mainly use wool from controlled organic livestock farming (kbT). This standard ensures that the animals are kept and fed in a species-appropriate manner and that no fattening aids or pesticides are used. Out of love for the animals, we use mulesing-free wool.
TENCEL™ fibers are made from various woods sourced from controlled, sustainable forestry. The fibers are biodegradable and can therefore be fully returned to nature.
We primarily use cashmere wool from certified organic animal husbandry that is GOTS and Control Union certified and thus fully traceable.
Fine, soft, silky fibers make alpaca wool a particularly high-quality and valued material. Favorite items made of alpaca wool are a competitive alternative to cashmere thanks to their beautiful shine and cozy feel.
We primarily use organically grown linen (kbA). As jersey and woven fabrics, linen is comfortable to wear, especially in high temperatures.
Silk is very similar to the protein structure of our skin and is therefore not perceived as a foreign body. It is particularly skin-friendly, as the smooth, fine fiber does not irritate the skin.
All our leathers are vegetable-tanned, PCP-free, and contain neither azo dyes nor chromium VI. By refraining from chemical surface treatment, the leather retains its natural character.
The yarn innovation ECONYL® is a 100% regenerated nylon yarn. Nylon waste is returned to its original structure and re-spun.
Hemp has always been our favorite raw material. There are many reasons for this. Hemp is a raw material where everything – from the seeds to the leaves – can be used.
We use polyester in a very selective manner and only in recycled form. During the recycling process, polyester residues from yarn and fabric production are collected, broken down into a high-quality raw material and used for new yarn.
