We create and produce only two collections a year. We place particular emphasis on sustainable and robust materials and timelessly beautiful, classic designs so that you can enjoy your favorite pieces for as long as possible.

In organic farming and animal husbandry, natural fertilizers and feed are used, which require far less energy to produce compared to chemicals and pesticides, and thus also cause less CO₂.

We make sure to keep the value creation in the country of origin to avoid unnecessary transport routes. For example, some of our cotton comes from Turkey and is processed there into jeans, sweaters or cardigans. We source our alpaca wool from Peru, as alpacas live high up in the Andes there. The precious wool is still processed here in the traditional way.

Our cardboard boxes made from recycled cardboard are reused multiple times whenever possible. This means the shipping boxes get a second, third, or even fourth "life." We are therefore very grateful for your careful handling of the packaging, our customer.

LANIUS's headquarters in Cologne offsets all generated CO₂ emissions and, like the LANIUS stores, sources electricity from renewable sources. Understanding sustainability as a holistic process also means striving for environmentally and socially responsible actions in everyday life.

We not only use green electricity from naturstrom at our company headquarters and in the LANIUS stores – over 60% of our production partners also already use a proportion of electricity from renewable energy sources.
