Sustainable jeans & trousers in popular fits

They are available in slim fit and high waist, with straight or wide leg and much more. Some people prefer to wear them in blue, others prefer darker washes. What most women agree on is that our wardrobe would be incomplete without a pair of well-fitting jeans . And this is exactly why it is so important when buying trousers not only to pay particular attention to the perfect fit, the right wash and of course the comfort, but also to give preference to sustainable jeans and trousers . Our wide range makes this very easy for you - because all of our styles are sustainable.

What sustainability criteria must fair jeans meet?

The GOTS certificate is an important indicator of the sustainability of our trousers and jeans. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS for short) is a globally recognized standard for organic textiles that takes both ecological and social criteria into account.
A brief general overview of the sustainability criteria we take into account when producing our sustainable jeans and trousers can be found here:

  • Use of organic cotton or other sustainable materials
  • Avoiding dangerous chemicals and toxic dyes
  • Transparent supply chain and manufacturing processes
  • Fair pay and fair working conditions for workers in the production chain
  • Sustainable packaging and production methods
  • Possibility to repair or reuse the jeans

Material science: High-quality natural materials for sustainable jeans and trousers

Cotton is the material that jeans dreams are made of. But the combination with hemp also makes our denim hearts beat faster. In our range you will find jeans and trousers made from different organic materials and in exciting material blends. For us, these materials are the key to comfortable, functional and fashionable denim:

  • Organic cotton is naturally vegan and does not require the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Instead, organic cotton cultivation is based on crop rotation, animal and plant fertilizers, biological pest control and manual weeding. Our organic cotton is particularly soft and durable.
  • TENCEL™ is one of the most natural fibers. The material is made from wood that comes from controlled sustainable forestry. We use certified TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibers from Lenzing in Austria, which are manufactured there in a particularly environmentally friendly and resource-saving manner. The TENCEL™ fibers are skin-friendly and breathable. Clothing items, and especially denims, that contain TENCEL™ are characterized by their special feel and slight sheen.
  • Linen is a natural material derived from flax and is known for its breathable and moisture-wicking properties.
  • Hemp is a natural material that is extracted from the hemp plant and is known for its robust and durable quality. Always our favorite raw material, hemp thrives in almost any soil, requires little irrigation, can be processed with little energy and is biodegradable.
