What is TENCEL™?
TENCEL™ is the brand name for the fiber Lyocell, an innovative cellulose fiber derived from wood, mostly from sustainably managed forests. Lyocell is a Environmentally friendly produced viscose fiber , also known as TENCEL™. It is a natural man-made fiber derived from cellulose and is also referred to as a near-natural fiber. During production, amine oxides dissolve the cellulose into a clear, viscous spinning solution. The solvents used in this process can be recovered.
