Carbon dioxide , the chemical compound of carbon and oxygen with the formula CO₂ , is partly responsible for climate change. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to reduce CO₂ emissions in the textile industry as well.
The CO₂ emissions generated during the cultivation of organic cotton by the bioRe® Foundation are offset, for example, through projects in the growing regions. Thus, cultivation is CO₂ -neutral.
At LANIUS, we take care to keep CO₂ emissions as low as possible by primarily using materials with low emission values and organic qualities, which compensate for these.
