III. SCOPE AND USAGE OF YOUR DATA IN THE SCOPE OF VISITING OUR WEBSITE

In the following we would like to give you an overview on how we guarantee the protection of your personal data when you access our website and what types of personal data we process for what purposes and to what extent.

1. Processing of personal data for orders

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. In addition, the IP address is transmitted and used to access the service you have requested. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet.

This log file data is anonymised or deleted by us immediately after the end of the usage process. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) GDPR.

In accordance with our IT security concept, the resulting log file data is stored for a period of two weeks in order to detect and analyse any attacks against our website. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) GDPR].

The resulting log file data is stored under a pseudonym for a period of two years in order to optimise our website for marketing purposes and, for example, to suggest further products to website visitors in which other customers have also shown interest. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) GDPR].

2. Processing of data when accessing our website - log files

We take technical and operational security precautions on our pages to protect the personal data stored by us from access by third parties, loss or misuse and to enable secure data transfer.

We must point out that due to the structure of the Internet, unwanted access to data by third parties may occur. It is therefore also your responsibility to protect your data against misuse by encryption or in any other way. In particular, unencrypted data, even if sent by e-mail, can be read by third parties without appropriate security measures.

IV. INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

1. Integration of social plugins

Our website uses social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from various social networks such as Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Google+ and Pinterest. The purpose of these plug-ins is to provide you with an opportunity to interact with your contacts and to easily disseminate interesting information. These plug-ins can be recognized by the respective logo in the network. We use a 2-click solution so that no data transfer takes place during a mere visit to the website.

Only when you click on such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective network. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser via the network and integrated into the website. If these networks are based outside the EU or the EEA, we cannot therefore exclude the possibility that your data may be transferred to a server outside the EU/EEA and processed there. We have no influence on the extent and the period of use of the data that the respective network collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge:

By integrating the plug-in, the respective network receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our Internet presence. If you are logged in to one of the networks, this network can assign this information to your profile. If you do not want the network to collect information about your visit to our website, you must log out first. In principle, however, it is possible that the network may obtain and store your IP address even though you have not registered there or are not logged in. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-fair advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. They have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles at the service providers.

The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. The purpose, duration and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of your data as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the respective social networks:

2. Integration of Google TAG Manager

For the delivery of online advertising and the integration of external partners we use the [Google Tag Manager]. This enables us to control the delivery of online advertising. This tool works without cookies, however, requires the transmission of IP addresses to Google. Here, the use and usage of the tag manager is measured. The anonymization of the IP address before forwarding to Google has been activated by us. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) GDPR]. The data accrued will be deleted after two years.

3. Integration of Google-Maps

This website uses the services of Google Maps, another service provided by Google, Inc. for the purpose of displaying interactive maps directly on the website, making it easy to find the locations we have indicated on the website and making it easier to use the map function.

This application is accessed directly from Google servers so that the company receives the IP address currently assigned to you. By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. Whether and to what extent and for how long the IP address is stored and used internally by Google is beyond our knowledge. The legal basis for the integration of this service is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GMO.

If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that Google may use your IP address and store it for profiling purposes. Google stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-fair advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles on Google.

Please note that data processing by Google may take place outside the EU/EEA. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. For more information about Google's privacy practices, please visit https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. Integration of YouTube

Our website uses plugins from Google's YouTube site. This website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and thus on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. We only record the extent to which the YouTube videos integrated with us are accessed and delete this data after two years.

For more information on how we handle user data, please see YouTube's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Integration of AddThis

Our websites also contain AddThis plug-ins, offers from AddThis LLC, 1595 Spring Hill Road, Sweet 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA ("AddThis"). These plug-ins allow you to bookmark or share interesting content with other users. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Using these plug-ins, your Internet browser establishes a direct connection to the AddThis servers and the selected social networking or bookmarking service, if applicable. The data collected in this context (e.g. time of use, browser type etc.) is stored and processed on AddThis servers in the USA. When you send content on our website to social networks or bookmarking services, a link can be established between visiting our website and your user profile on the relevant network. The data collected with the corresponding technologies will not be used by us to personally identify you as a user of this website. We only receive statistical evaluations, which we can use to improve our offers. We have no influence on the data collected and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation takes place in particular (even for unlogged-in users) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right.

If you do not wish to participate in this process, you can object to the collection and storage of data at any time by setting an opt-out cookie with effect for the future: https://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out/. Alternatively, you can set your browser to prevent the setting of a cookie. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all interactive functions and services of our website. Further information on data protection at AddThis can also be found here: www.addthis.com/privacy.

V. OUR COOKIE POLICY

1. General information on the use of cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and saved by your browser. They serve to make our offers more user-friendly, effective and secure. We use both temporary cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser ("session cookies"), and persistent (permanent) cookies.

You have the choice whether you want to allow the setting of cookies. You can make changes in your browser settings. You basically have the choice of accepting all cookies, being informed when cookies are set or rejecting all cookies. If you choose the latter option, it is possible that you may not be able to make full use of our offer.

When cookies are used, a distinction must be made between the absolutely necessary cookies and those for other purposes (measurement of access numbers, advertising purposes).

2. Mandatory cookies when using the website

We use session cookies on our websites which are absolutely necessary for the use of our websites. This includes cookies that enable us to recognize you when you visit the site in a single session. These session cookies contribute to the secure use of our offer by enabling the secure processing of the shopping basket function and the payment process.

3. Use of cookies with your consent

Below you will find an overview of the cookies that we use with your consent at the beginning of your use of the website. You will also find an opt-out option for each presentation of the insert. These are cookies for recording the usage behaviour of our website as well as cookies that are used for advertising purposes.

a. Use of cookies to record usage behavior (tracking)

The use of tracking cookies enables us to recognize users when they access our website again and to assign usage processes to an internally assigned code number (pseudonym). This enables us to record and analyze repeated visits to our website.

Specifically, the following tracking cookies are used:

Tracking by Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will previously be reduced by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for storing the cookie is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR). The further evaluation of the collected data by means of Google Analytics takes place over a period of two years on the basis of Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

For more information, please visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en (general information about Google Analytics and data protection).

Use of Optimizely
This website uses the web analysis service Optimizely. The program enables an analysis of user behavior based on user segmentation. By evaluating the logfile data, we can determine how the individual user segments of the website are visited, which landing pages are visited and how an increase in click rates can be achieved.

Cookies are used for the analyses, as described above, which are linked to a pseudonymised ID. From your IP address, the last three digits in other States Parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area will be reduced. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to an Optimizely server in the USA and stored there. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transmitted to an Optimizely server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Optimizely will not be merged with other Optimizely data.

The use of Optimizely serves to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on the website activities so that we can regularly improve our offer. Optimizely has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis for storing the cookie is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a) GDPR). The further evaluation of the data collected is carried out over a period of two years on the basis of Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also deactivate Optimizely tracking at any time (and thus prevent Optimizely from collecting data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website - including your IP address - and processing of this data by Optimizely) by following the instructions at http://www.optimizely.com/opt_out.

Google Adwords Tracking

We use the offer of Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called "Ad Servers". Ad server cookies are used here, which enable the evaluation of performance parameters such as ad impressions, clicks and conversions. In this way, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally.

The following analysis values are usually stored for this cookie:

  • Unique Cookie ID
  • Number of ad impressions per placement (frequency)
  • Last Impression (Relevant for Post-View Conversions)
  • OptOut information (mark that the user no longer wishes to be addressed)

These cookies enable Google to recognize your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Adwords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. We do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. On the basis of these evaluations we can recognize which of the used advertising measures are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. The legal basis for the storage of cookies by Google is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GMO).

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. Please note that data processing by Google may take place outside the European Union. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-USFramework. Furthermore, we have no influence on the extent and further use of the data that is collected through the use of this tool by Google and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge:

By integrating "tracking tools", Google receives information that you have called up the corresponding website of our website, or that you have clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider may obtain and store your IP address. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

You can refuse to set a cookie. This can be done via browser settings, for example, which generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. Alternatively, you can deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. In addition, by installing a browser plug-in, you can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google's use of cookies for these purposes by visiting the https://www.google.de/settings/ads/ page. For more information about Google's privacy practices, please visit https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): http://www.networkadvertising.org/

b. Use of cookies for advertising purposes

We use cookies for marketing purposes, for example to tailor advertising to the interests of a website visitor. They are also used to limit the frequency of display and to measure the effectiveness of a display. This records which web pages and which articles were clicked on. This enables us to collect information about usage habits in order to control interest-oriented advertising. This information is shared with third parties. In these cases, the cookies are regularly set directly by the advertising partner.

Specifically, the following cookies are set:

Use of Google Remarketing

In addition to AdWords tracking, we also use Google Remarketing. This is retargeting, i.e. the delivery of interest-based advertising on other advertising spaces outside our offer. After visiting our website, this application can be used to display advertisements for the services / products previously viewed on our website when you visit other websites. The cookie stored in your browser serves the purpose of recognition. As a result of your previous visit to our website, Google may record your interest in certain products and use them for the targeted playout of advertisements on other websites. According to Google's own statements, Google does not merge the data collected in the context of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. According to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing in particular.

The application serves to be able to place you interest-fair advertisement and to advertise our products purposefully. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis for storing the cookie is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR). The further evaluation of the data collected over a period of up to two years is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

If you do not want ads tailored to your interests to be displayed, you can disable cookies in your browser or notify Google in the future by following this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/

Using DoubleClick by Google

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, another service of Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to track which ads are displayed in which browser and to prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick may use cookie IDs to collect conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

By implementing these tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. Please note that this may involve data processing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework . Furthermore, we have no influence on the handling and further use of the data by Google. The legal basis for the processing of your data over a period of up to two years is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google's use of cookies for these purposes by visiting https://www.google.de/settings/ads/ For more information about DoubleClick by Google, please visit: https://www.google.de/doubleclick/

and Google's privacy policy in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org/

c. Use of cookies for company cooperations

If you are redirected to our website from the ethical fashion online platform Goodonyou via the link there, a cookie from HasOffers/TUNE is stored in your browser. This cookie ensures provisioning between LANIUS and Goodonyou when you place an order in our shop after being redirected from there. For this purpose, the time of the order in our shop is transmitted to Goodonyou via an ID as well as the order value. The legal basis for the storage of the cookie is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR). The further evaluation of the collected data takes place over a period of two years on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly.

We will only use the other data that the winner sends us to send the prize. All personal data of the participants, with the exception of the winner's data, will be deleted after the end of the competition. The winner's data will be deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in the context of a competition is Art. 6 (1) b) DSGVO.

2. processing of data in the case of service enquiries - your enquiries

If you send us a request by commenting directly on our channel, below one of our posts or by private message, we will process your data (for example, your account name) in order to be able to reply to you and process your request. If we need personal data from you to process your request, we may ask you to send it to us by private message. To protect your privacy, we ask that you do not provide personal information directly in a public comment. Should this nevertheless be the case, we will hide the corresponding comment as soon as possible. We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in processing customer enquiries on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO.

3. data processing by the platform provider

When you visit our website, the provider of the social media platform collects, among other things, your IP address as well as other information that is present on your PC in the form of cookies. This data processing is carried out under the sole responsibility of the social media platform.

We do not know how the social media platform uses the data from your visit to our account and interaction with our posts for its own purposes, how long this data is stored and whether data is passed on to third parties. The data processing may differ depending on whether you are registered and logged in to the social network or visit the site as a non-registered and/or non-logged-in user. When you access a post or our account, the IP address assigned to your terminal device is transmitted to the provider of the social media platform. If you are currently logged in as a user, the provider of the social media platform can track via a cookie on your end device that you have visited this page and how you have used it.
