The beeswax cloth is a plastic-free and reusable, and therefore sustainable, alternative to cling film. In addition, the cloths are breathable, handmade and sustainable for people and nature.

Application:

  1. Briefly crumple your cloth. The warmth of your hands will make the cloth supple.
  2. Place the beeswax cloth on a bowl or around the object of your choice.
  3. Use the warmth of your hands to ensure that the beeswax cloth wraps around the contents.
  4. Release your hands, done.
  5. After use, you can rinse the cloth with cold water and use it again and again.

Ingredients: Organic cotton, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil, tree resin

The organic beeswax cloth is made of organic cotton printed with vegan colors, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil (in a very small amount) and tree resin (in a very small amount) – nothing more.

The packaging is made of grass paper and can be easily recycled due to the high grass fiber content and is biodegradable.

With the exception of the tree resin, the components of the wax cloths are certified organic and tested for pesticides. We source the resin from a small resin factory in Austria.

Shipping costs within Germany
For shipping within the Federal Republic of Germany, we charge a flat rate of €4.95 per order.

Shipping costs for international orders
For shipping, we charge a flat rate of €11.95 per order. The flat shipping rate to Switzerland is also €11.95 (net €10.04). Goods from the LANIUS online shop are sent as insured parcels with DHL GoGreen. We also ship to parcel locker stations.

You can return items to us within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Care instructions
  • Wipe or rinse the gaia wrap with cold water.
  • Pat dry or air dry.
  • Do not expose your beeswax cloth to too much heat and do not cover hot food with it. Otherwise the beeswax will melt.
  • If the gaia wrap is torn, place it on a piece of wax-proof paper in the oven at around 80°C for a few minutes. Then let it cool down.
  • Do not clean with hot water.
  • Do not pack raw meat or fish.
  • The handling and care of the product determines its lifespan.
  • Be careful and care for your beeswax cloth after each use.
  • Because of the beeswax, your hands may be a bit sticky after use, but that's generally not a problem.

Shipping costs within Germany
For shipping within the Federal Republic of Germany, we charge a flat rate of €4.95 per order.


Shipping costs for international orders
For international shipping, we charge a flat rate of €11.95 per order.
The shipping flat rate for Switzerland is also €11.95 (net €10.04).

Please note that for orders with a delivery country outside the EU, as well as for their returns, any additional costs such as customs & processing fees and taxes are to be borne by the buyer. Please inquire about this with your local customs office before placing an order.

For deliveries to Norway and Switzerland, the purchase value is limited to EUR 1,000 net.


How long does delivery take?
In Germany, Lanius delivers in-stock goods after receipt of payment within 1-5 working days to your specified delivery address with the shipping company DHL GoGreen. Please note that a bank transfer credit to our account via advance payment can take 3 - 4 working days, depending on the bank. If a weekend falls in between, the period will be extended accordingly.

For shipping available items within Europe, the delivery time increases to up to 14 working days, depending on the recipient's location.

As soon as the shipping information has been transmitted to DHL GoGreen, you will receive a shipping notification by e-mail, which includes a link for tracking your shipment. With the tracking number, you can check the status of your order at any time. Please note that the transmission of the shipping information occurs before pickup by DHL and is equivalent to a pickup order. The onward transport requested by DHL then happens as quickly as possible on the same day, or at the latest within two working days.


Shipping options
Goods from the LANIUS online shop are shipped as an insured package with DHL GoGreen. We also ship to parcel stations.

During the order process, you have the option to specify a different delivery address or parcel station. To do this, click on the "Add different delivery address or DHL parcel station" link and then select the "DHL parcel station" option in the drop-down menu to enter the corresponding data.

You have the option to choose a used cardboard box as a packaging option for environmental reasons.


To which countries does the LANIUS online shop deliver?
Orders in the LANIUS online shop can be delivered to Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Great Britain and all EU countries.

Please note that for orders with a delivery country outside the EU, any additional costs such as customs duties and taxes are to be borne by the buyer.


Does LANIUS refund VAT for subsequent export of goods?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to refund VAT retrospectively for goods ordered within Germany and then exported from the EU.
