Raffia is obtained from the fibers of the raffia palm and is a natural material of plant origin. This robust natural fiber impresses with its lightness and flexibility. It gives the slippers a summery look and ensures a pleasantly airy feel.

Our entire collection and all of our business activities are ClimatePartner-certified. The certification confirms that a company calculates its carbon footprint, defines reduction targets, continuously reduces emissions and finances climate protection projects.

For over 100 years, the Werner family business has been all about sustainable footwear. The factories in Romania are Fair Wear audited and the leather is inherited from vegetable-tanned leather.
