Detail

The scarves are unique pieces made from elaborate silk saris in the small villages of Rajasthan in India. Two or more saris are combined by elaborate hand embroidery (with the traditional "Kantha stitch"). The scarves have different motifs on both sides and can therefore be worn on both sides in different looks. Handcrafted by artisans, they are sewn under fair conditions. Each scarf is unique, colors and dimensions may vary slightly. This special uniqueness makes every scarf a favorite item.

SILK

The natural product silk is one of the noblest fibers and is extracted from the cocoons of the silkworm. The caterpillars transform mulberry leaves into body substance and subsequently form the cocoon. Our silk products are not made of organic silk. Craftsmanship and uniqueness meet.

PRODUCTION FACILITY

Our partner for unique sari scarves

For the spring / summer collection 2018 we worked together for a very special project with a fair trade production in India. The result is a unique silk scarf made of recycled saris, which have been prepared and handcrafted. The production in India is characterized not only by loving craftsmanship, but also by ecological processing with no chemicals. Furthermore, only CO2-neutral logistics are sent and part of the proceeds are donated to social projects in India.
