Unfortunately, the reality in the production facilities of many globally operating fashion producers looks different. Behind the unclear supply chains are often massive humanrightsviolations - usually even without the knowledge of the client. These include daily violence, threats and sexual assault.
80% of the 75 million people working in the fast fashion industry worldwide are women. So improving working conditions in this industry means doing important work on women's rights.
At LANIUS, we believe that good cooperation is an important factor in the success of unique and high-quality textiles. We work with both large companies and small family businesses. In principle, most of our producers have certificates that ensure the social standards in the company.

WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN DONATE
TO FEMNET – THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
March 08 is International Women's Day. On this day, we donate 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET. Your donation makes an important contribution to fair and just work in the global textile industry. With your help, we can improve the difficult conditions under which women and girls produce conventional fashion and strengthen their rights.

THIS IS WHAT WE ACHIEVE WITH YOUR DONATIONS
The organization FEMNET works together with selected partner organizations in the long term in order to effectively anchor a similar improvement of the living conditions for workers locally. These partner organizations have daily contact with the workers, many of them are even led by former seamstresses. They know firsthand what problems the women are confronted with. Thus, FEMNET's partners develop their project ideas independently. In doing so, they make sure that women in particular receive targeted support, for example through the establishment of women-led trade unions, projects on childcare, sexual harassment or violence.
Trainings and consultations strengthen especially women and girls to know their rights and to stand up for them themselves.
The representation of workers' interests is supported in a targeted manner.
Workers receive legal assistance in matters of labor law so that they can defend themselves against violations of the law.
Protests, campaigns and demonstrations increase public pressure on politics and business.
