Organic Linen

One of our oldest cultivated plants

Linen is made from the bast fiber flax. Since the plant is very robust, even conventional cultivation uses less pesticides and fertilizers than the cultivation of cotton. We mainly use linen from controlled organic cultivation. Linen as a jersey and fabric is comfortable to wear in the summer, especially at high temperatures.

Wir sind besonders stolz auf unseren Produzenten in Litauen: Er besteht schon seit 1967 und beschäftigt rund 800 Mitarbeiter. Unter anderem aufgrund der Nachfrage von Modelabels wie LANIUS hat der Betrieb seine konventionelle Produktionsweise umgestellt und kontinuierlich nachhaltig weiterentwickelt.
